ReConnect! Compassion Journey Live with Tania Singer in Salzburg
In 2027, you will have the opportunity to participate in a live Kick‒Off personally led by Prof. Dr. Tania Singer in Salzburg, followed by a 2‒month ReConnect! Compassion Journey online with the expert team. The dyad journey begins with a one‒and‒a‒half‒day Kick‒Off Event at the beautiful St. Virgil in Salzburg on May 7, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on May 8 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This one‒and‒a‒half‒day workshop serves as an introduction to the subsequent daily dyad practice by phone. The regular two‒hour coaching sessions, spanning 8 weeks, are accompanied by our experts Katharina Schacht and Oliver Kirchof.

Introduction to the ReConnect! Dyad Practice
The ReConnect! Journey offers a professional introduction to the eight-week daily dyad practice, accompanied by high-quality online courses. It begins with a 1- or 1.5-day in-person kick-off event, led by Prof. Dr. Tania Singer and the ReConnect! team.
During this live event, participants experience a balanced combination of scientific lectures by Prof. Singer and practical exercises specifically designed around partner-based dyads. Unlike the Masterclass, this is not an intensive meditation retreat with overnight accommodation and full board, but rather an introductory workshop where lodging and meals are arranged individually.
The kick-off lays the foundation for the subsequent eight-week online dyad course, which is accompanied by trained ReConnect! dyad teachers who offer weekly 1.5-hour online coaching sessions for reflection and deepening.
Several ReConnect! Journeys are available to choose from: the Compassion Journey, the Perspective Journey, and the Self-Compassion Journey. Each focuses on different skills and incorporates specific types of dyads — for example, to strengthen resilience through care and gratitude, to better navigate stress and difficult emotions, to broaden perspective-taking towards oneself and others, or to develop a compassionate approach to the inner critic and emotions such as shame.

The ReConnect! Compassion Journey trains the following learning content and topics:
